Born in Leon, she started her musical studies at the "Eduardo Martínez Torner" Conservatory in Oviedo, with Professors Celia Blanco and Dolores Álvarez Arenas, and graduated in Opera singing with full marks. She also attended courses with Carlos Mena, Luiz Alves da Silva, Jane Thorner-Mengedot, Jill Fellman, Christoph Pregardien and Emma Kirkby.

 In 2005 she graduated in Lied and Oratorio at the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater” of Zurich, where she studied with Professor Lina Maria Åkerlund.

         She has won First Prize at the 2007 Verona Orfeo Singing Competition chaired by Raina Kavaivanska an Nigel Rogers.

 She has performed as a soloist in the  Via Stellae Festival of Santiago de Compostela, Daroca International Early Music Festival, Donaufestwochen in Strudengau, Estoril Festival, International  Festival de Musique Anciennes in Montfaucon , Centre Lyrique d'Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand and Royaumont Festival in Paris among others.

    On stage she has appeared as Rita in Rita by G. Donizetti, La Musica, Euridice and Proserpina (L’Orfeo) by C. Monteverdi, Dido (Dido and Eneas) by H. Purcell, Serpina (La Serva Padrona) by G. Pergolesi, Agapito (I pellegrini al sepolcro) by J. A. Hasse, Venus (Vendado es amor, no es ciego) and Dircea (Para obsequio a la Deidad, nunca es culto la crueldad) by  J. de Nebra and Jupiter (La guerra de los Gigantes) by S. Durón.

 She has sung in countries such as Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Morocco and Japan.

 In the early music field she has worked with groups such as Anthonello of Japan, Ensemble Turicum, Ensemble Quadrivium, Orphenica Lyra, Musica Fiorita, Il Profondo, Ensemble Concerto and Il Seminario Musicale among others.

 She has performed as a soloist with contemporary music ensembles such as the Ensemble Legio XXI, s21 and the Ensemble Phoenix.

 She has recorded Fauré’s Requiem and Medelssohn’s Psalm 42 with the Gijón Symphony Orchestra. She has also recorded  the "Villanescas Guerrero vol I" and the "Masses and Motets” by Antonio Lobo, with the ensemble Musica Ficta,  for the ENCHIRIADIS label.

In 2012 she recorded the opera La guerra de Gigantes  by Sebastián Duron with the A Corte Musical  Baroque Orchestra, for the PANCLASSICS label.
